Known to most U.S. consumers as "that Chinese company that now manufactures the IBM ThinkPad," Lenovo has its work cut out for it if it hopes to unseat Dell and HP as the de facto standard for business machines. Despite that fact, Lenovo seems dead-set on endearing itself to budget-minded IT buyers the world over with its new 3000 N200, an unassuming entry to the low-end laptop market. The folks over at Trusted Reviews recently had their way with the cumbersomely-named machine and found it offers a much cheaper, albeit slightly less elegant, alternative to the storied ThinkPad. Sure, this hardware and chassis isn't going to turn very many heads, but for those looking for a capable machine in the sub-$1,000 range, the 3000 N200 should be a welcome addition.
