Rumor: T-Mobile to offer Dash users free WM6 upgrade
February 15, 2007 — 8:01pm ET
If your smartphone of choice is the T-Mobile Dash, then this rumor is sure to put a smile to your face: T-Mobile will allegedly offer Windows Mobile 6 as a free download for Dash users, sometime this spring. WM6 brings some exciting new features to the table and it's nice to see at least one of the major carriers offering it to their customers as a courtesy, instead of milking them for all they're worth. Will T-Mobile extend this offer to other phones and more importantly, will other carriers follow suit? I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you.
