Remember those colorful, $300 2GB Eee PCs that we showed you last month? Well, they weren’t supposed to start shipping until next year but surprise, surprise–looks like they’re now ready to ship from a few online retailers, just in time for Christmas (or, judging by the colors, Easter). As we mentioned before, these colorful new machines are the “2G Surf” model: that means 2GB of storage, 256MB RAM and no webcam. Still, if you’re willing to skimp on the specs in order to save a hundo, don’t let me stand between you and the “Lush Green,” “Sky Blue,” or “Blush Pink” laptop of your dreams.
