Dell’s first tablet PC unveiled
The legend of a Dell-branded tablet PC are seemingly as old as time itself, so it’s nice to finally see a few details leaking out of Dell HQ on the secretive project. What you see above is said to be an actual product shot of the Latitude XT, leaked by French site LesDeLLiens, who also has the scoop on specs. Looks like Engadget was largely right when it leaked the machine’s specs back in August: a 1.2Ghz ultra low-voltage Core 2 Duo with ATI Radeon Xpress 1250 integrated graphics, up to 3GB of RAM, 802.11n/Bluetooth and a 12-inch WXGA touchscreen. No word yet on price or release date for the remarkably ThinkPad-like machine, though November 5th is rumored to be the target release date.
