Google Docs go mobile

When it comes to co-editing documents with others over the Internet, there’s just about no better way of getting things done than Google Docs. And it looks like editing while on the move is just about to get even easier: Google has released a mobile version of its web-based Docs app that allows users of BlackBerrys, Windows Mobile devices and iPhones to access docs, spreadsheets and presentations on the go. Unfortunately, it’s read-only for the time being but Google has promised to add editing to the app soon. Sure, you’re probably not going to write the great American novel on your iPhone’s touchscreen keypad anytime soon; it’s still nice to know, however, that those docs are available whenever–and wherever–you want them.
