How to: Sync a Windows Mobile device with a Mac

It’s hard to imagine what kind of person would own both a Windows Mobile device and a Mac. A productivity-obsessed creative professional? A design-worshiping exec? A failed artist turned businessman? Believe it or not, these people are out there, somewhere and they need a way to sync their WinMo devices with their OS X machines. Up until now, Missing Sync has been the de facto standard, though that $40 price tag is admittedly a little hard to swallow. A new freeware app, SyncMate, promises to offer the same sort of functionality with no cost of admission. SyncMate is currently in beta, so proceed with caution, though it might be worth checking out if you’re in need of a synching solution.
