List of 68 iPhone bugs released

For a while there, the iPhone was really impressing us on the security tip. Sure, a number of vulnerabilities were discovered in the phone’s OS within hours of its release. But Apple did an admirable job of squelching most of those bugs inside of a week–that’s light speed compared with most phone vendors. The bugs, however, aren’t about to give up without a fight. Case in point: a comprehensive list of iPhone bugs has been released by AppleHound and it contains a whopping 68 vulnerabilities confirmed as reproducible. Of course, a number are the sort of thing you’re likely to never encounter during daily use of the phone. Still, 68 unpatched vulnerabilities is probably enough to give anyone pause before deploying a piece of technology in an enterprise.
