Samsung’s BlackJack II released at last

Info on Samsung’s BlackJack sequel might have leaked months ago and we may have even seen Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer clutching the device in his famously sweaty palms at CTIA but that didn’t stop Sammy and AT&T from holding on to the phone for as long as humanly possible. However, the wait is now officially over: AT&T started selling the BlackJack II this past Friday for $150 with a 2-year service agreement. At the moment, it’s only available in the black finish that you see to your right, though if Crave is to be believed, a fetching red (a.k.a. “burgundy”) version should also hit the streets by December 12th. In case you’ve forgotten, the newest version of the BlackJack improves upon version 1.0 with a larger display, more shortcut keys, a front jog wheel, Windows Mobile 6 and GPS. As with the first BlackJack, EDGE, 3G and GSM will also tag along for the ride.
