Info on Samsung’s BlackJack sequel might have leaked months ago [1] and we may have even seen Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer clutching the device in his famously sweaty palms at CTIA [2] but that didn’t stop Sammy and AT&T from holding on to the phone for as long as humanly possible. However, the wait is now officially over: AT&T started selling the BlackJack II this past Friday for $150 with a 2-year service agreement. At the moment, it’s only available in the black finish that you see to your right, though if Crave is to be believed, a fetching red (a.k.a. “burgundy”) version should also hit the streets by December 12th. In case you’ve forgotten, the newest version of the BlackJack improves upon version 1.0 with a larger display, more shortcut keys, a front jog wheel, Windows Mobile 6 and GPS. As with the first BlackJack, EDGE, 3G and GSM will also tag along for the ride.
